"Champ"
is a 2001 Dutch Warmblood Sport Horse standing 16.2hh.
He is an easy-going,
reliable horse with no spook.
Champ is very athletic, extremely
balanced and compact.
Champ is super quiet and completely
uncomplicated to ride. He is a dream horse. Perfect for a rider who has
never ridden before, Champ will take care of you.
He has smooth, comfortable gaits, a
rhythmical canter and consistently correct form over fences. Champ is an
extra special horse that absolutely adores people, loves attention and will
cuddle with you all day. He will pack any rider around 3' courses with style
and grace. Exceptional ground manners, a brilliant mind, he loads, clips,
bathes, cross-ties, has no vices and is 100% sound
He is brave to the fences with plenty of
scope for 3'6 and a jump that's easy to stay with. Well-mannered and
agreeable, happy to go around with or without contact and easy to sit.
Champ is a kind horse with good brain and
very unlikely to misbehave. He's honest,
enjoys his job and loves to work!
He is a lovely gelding,
quiet with no vices who will follow you around like a puppy dog.
In 2007 he competed locally in the Junior/Children's Hunter division and Pleasure
Horse division with
with a 12 year old child showing 3'.
He was high point for the year in both divisions.
He is a handsome addition to the "A" show circuit.
At his first A show in 2006, he placed 6th out of 30 horses in the Pre-Green Hunter
division. He was the year-end VHSA
Reserve Champion Green Hunter Horse
and year-end VHSA 3rd
place Working Hunter Horse.
With lineage from great jumpers and dressage horses such as Consul, the
number one stallion in the country on one side (Consul,
sired Judgment)
and
E'sop's Fable,
who cleared 6'6 with a 5" clearance on the other side. It is no surprise he is
definitely a fabulous prospect for upper level eventing, hunter, dressage,
and/or jumper.
Champ is only
being sold as his owner has taken a job out of the country.
