If
you have looked through the many pages of this site, you have seen there are
plenty opportunities to learn about riding, training, showing, boarding,
breeding and sales! There is also lot that goes on in the background
that keeps ECETC running smoothly. ECETC insists on a high
standard of horse care.
The
horses must be exercised, fed, groomed, stalls cleaned, tack cleaned, stable
swept, pastures and grounds maintained and horses prepped for shows and
sales.
Horse shows and events require lot of work in the background,
including prep work, such as setting up courses, mailers, and flyers as well
as participation in the show or working the concession stand, ring stewards,
show secretaries, etc. So you can see there is plenty of opportunity to gain
a wealth of experience in the horse business with ECETC.
ECETC employs for full time,
part time and also has a working student program.
