 Equine Training at ECETC & ECSH
Equine Training
Are you looking for a short-term refresher or an extensive training program, ECETC will customize a training program for your horse based on your needs, knowledge, background information and your goals for your horse.  Training is provided for the unstarted, green and made equine. Some horses are ready to go after 60 days, others as early as 30 days.  This is all based on the individual equine's progression.

Equine Training
(includes boarding Cost)

3 days/week: $900/month
4 days/week: $1000/month
5 days/week: $1100/month

Trailering Fees to Shows
Local Shows: $25
Suffolk/Peninsula Shows: $45
Away Shows: $125

Coaching Fees at Shows
Local Shows: $35 per day
Away Shows: $50 per day
Training can include specific discipline of training, such as hunter, jumper, dressage and eventing which may be provided on a regular or as-needed basis. 

Sharon's method of equine training includes positive reinforcement and a quiet, gentle hand.  It is reflected in the tender, gentle nature of all her own horses and animals.   All ECETC trainers use positive techniques in all levels and areas of training.

If you are thinking about buying a young horse, or even your first yearling, but are not real sure how to get the horse started, then bring him to ECETC.  Sharon has gently "broke" many young horses and corrected many behavior problems in horses of all ages with her gentle touch. Sharon will provide the training required of the youngster to prepare him for years of riding and showing and can teach you what to do along the way.  

When you purchase your equine partner from ECSH, whether it be a sport horse, other quality horse or pony, you can also purchase a package of professional training with Sharon. 

You may also get in on the training by taking lessons along with your horse as he completes his training.  It is a great way to learn about your mount and get to know each other.

If your horse is in training for shows, there is an additional fee for trailering to and from shows, depending on distance and available space.
